Wendell Sherk represents consumers, businesses, debtors and creditors. In the past, he also represented bankruptcy trustees.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and has been awarded The Missouri Bar’s Michael Roser Award for Excellence in Bankruptcy in 2014. Previously he received the Judge Brauer Award for Innovations in Bankruptcy.
He was a Commissioner in the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Commission on Consumer Bankruptcy. He has been Chairman of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis’ Bankruptcy Committee. As a regular speaker and author on bankruptcy topics, he has also appeared in local TV and print news.
Wendell is assisted by Rebecca Sherk, his paralegal and wife. She is an UMSL graduate with over 20 years of experience working in and managing law firms. Their children are their dogs.
